We welcome owners to come and view and inspect our premises and visit our resident dogs, 2 Leonbergers named Elsa and Shola and Irish Wolfhound named Freya, also our cats, Taz and Tilly and our bunnies Titch and Buster. We will make you feel welcome. We however have limited boarding facilities at the moment but through contacting us we can arrange accommodation given notice.
We relate to our local veterinary practice and have been with them for 30 years. They operate a 24-hour service if required.
If medication is required to be given, this is not a problem as long the medication is in its original container with clear instructions.
DUE TO THE HIGH RATE OF DISEASES SUCH AS MYXOMATOSIS, VHD AND PASTERELLA BACTERIA WE CAN ONLY BOARD ANIMALS THAT HAVE BEEN VACCINATED. PLEASE BRING VACCINATION CERTIFICATE WITH YOU.
CRITTERVILLE AS A COMPANY AIMS TO
- PROVIDE APPROPRIATE FOODS AND FRESH WATER DAILY TO EACH INDIVIDUAL.
- PROVIDE APPROPRIATE LIVING CONDITIONS TO EACH INDIVIDUAL.
- PROVIDE CLEANLINESS OF ACCOMODATION DAILY
- PROVIDE A PERSONAL APPROACH TO “OWNERS” AND THEIR ANIMALS
- TO MINIMISE RISK AND SPREAD OF INFECTION, DISEASE BY;
- Inspection of the animal on arrival. No pet suffering from or suspected to be suffering from any infectious or contagious disease can be accepted into the premises pending advice from our Veterinary Surgeon.
- Avoiding contact between the pets at anytime do the pets have contact or mix with each other unless they come as a pair or more living together.
- Requiring proof of vaccinations for the pets
- Requiring the pets to be defleaded, mited and wormed where appropriate.
- Pets being transported securely in appropriate crates
- Pets housed in secure appropriate hutches, cages etc
- Whenever practical, the owners provide their own pets familiar, secure housing to ease stress to the pet that change of environment may cause.
- “We” will require and hold full contact details of “owners” and “pets” whilst in our care
- If the owner is arriving and collecting their pet from the premises then they supply their own secure escape proof transit accommodation.
- Supply us with special dietary, social, special, medical needs.
- Supply us with original medicine in their bottles with clear instructions of medication.
- To provide us with appropriate proof of vaccination are up to date.
- The owner accepts that should “We” feel that the pet needs veterinary attention “we” will use our veterinary practice and the veterinary fee will be reimbursed in full on collection to “us” by the owner’s responsibility
- The “owner” accepts that accident. Injury, illness, death, theft, public liability and all other insurance’s for the “owner” and the pet whilst visiting and boarding with “us” are the responsibility of the “owner” and that “we” are released of any and all such liabilities.
- The “owner” accepts “our” prices and special discounts
- The “owner” accepts “our” pre boarding requirements
- The “owner” accepts “our” opening/closing hours
- The “owner” accepts “our” payment methods
- The “owners” accepts to pay in full for the fully booked period, to the agreed collection date, in the event of an early collection
- The “owner” accepts delay in collection to be charged at “our” current daily prices.
- The “owner” accepts that if the pet is not collected within 14 days after the agreed collection date and the “owner” cannot be contacted by “us” and the “owner” has failed to contact “us” to arrange and extension to the agreed dates then the pet becomes the property of “us”. “We” will deem this as abandonment by the “owner” and will seek to suitably rehome the pet.
